Ingredients:
2 T. vegetable oil
1/2 T. mustard seeds
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 t. chopped green chili
1 T. curry leaves*
1 3/4 lbs. green beans, French cut, boiled
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. dried coconut
1 lemon without peel, sliced
Directions:
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds; heat until they crackle. Add onion, chili, and curry leaves. Cook until onions become brown. Add beans, salt, and dried coconut to the pan. Cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes on low flame; stir occasionally. Garnish with sliced lemon; serve hot with rice or bread. Serves: 4.
