Ingredients:
1 T. soy margarine
1 med. onion, minced
2 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. molassses
1/2 c. Pure Florida Crystals sugar
1/4 c. Braggs Liquid Aminos
1/4 c, pure maple syrup
1 c. ketchup
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1 t. thyme leaves
1 t. marjoram leaves
1/ 2.c apple juice concentrate, undiluted
2 T. cornstarch
2 c. great northern beans, canned, drained
2 c. lima beans, canned, drained
2 c. butter beans, canned, drained
1 c. pinto beans, canned, drained
Directions:
Place the soy magarine in a saucepan, and add minced onions. Saute until tender and clear. Then add all remaining ingredients except for the apple juice concentrate, cornstarch, and beans. In a separate mixing bowl use a fork to stir together the apple juice concentrate and cornstarch until smooth. Add to sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 min. until thick. Add the beans and pour into a casserole baking dish. Bake for 1 hr. at 375 deg. F.
